Trekking Route
1. Start Point:
The trek begins at the Yellow Bridge Yeh Unda, a wooden suspension bridge crossing a river that connects the villages of Sangkan Gunung and Sidemen.
2. Crossing the Main Road:
From the Yellow Bridge, head west and cross the main road and a local temple. Along this path, you'll be greeted with views of terraced rice fields and the majestic Mount Agung to the north. After 15 minutes, you'll enter the rice paddy area.
3. Cepug Rice View:
After 15 minutes of walking past the main road, you'll enter a rice paddy area via a small ditch to the north. Here, enjoy stunning views of Mount Agung to the north and Mount Dwangga to the east. Observe the lush green fields and the daily activities of local farmers. Depending on the season, you might see vast stretches of green rice paddies or chili cultivation.
4. Passing Through a Village:
Following Cepug Rice View, you'll walk through the village of Banjar Dinas Dukuh, where you can witness the daily lives of local residents.
5. Babakan Rice View:
After leaving the village, you'll enter the verdant area of Babakan Rice View. This section of the trek follows a 1 km-long irrigation ditch used to water the fields. Enjoy the picturesque rice paddies and terraces along the way.
6. Finish Point:
Conclude your trek at Warung Uma Anyar, a perfect spot to relax and savor local dishes after your enjoyable journey.
